when does the cod season open just south of pigeon point? also, can you fish in the capitola area for rock cod? (monterey region) i am a kayak fisherman and the california regs are impossible to read. does anyone know if that area is legal to fish? and when is the cod season? i heard some rumor about the them closin the kelp beds around monterey bay and im trying to figure out if thats true, if it is this will realy suck for us kayak fishermen...
